A solution to a closet full of painful uncomfortable shoes. Though they would be comfortable after they were broken in. I want to exchange sizes but don't want to pay $8.00 for shipping, and there is absolutely nothing in the package that would allow me to indicate I wanted to exchange.

I think overall I would never utilize this business again until there is some sort of restructuring of quality control. I bought $100 Sperry rain boots, worn to town for 2 hours and they left blisters on my feet.
I have bought running shoes from other stores and they have a return policy of 30 to 60 days, worn or not. Wore a pair of shoes for an hour tops to find out they're a piece of crap - can't return them. Horrible horrible horrible.Received shoes that were worn. Two different size boots...really???? It's not recognized by fed ex ground, so now I have to track someone down at dsw to send me another one! Received wrong item for Christmas! So $50 have to be chalked up to experience. Must I pay for return shipping on this exchange? I am a very good customer of dsw but not sure I will be afyer this..One pair of shoes i got did have a return label but not this one..Ordered a pair of shoes as an early Mother's Day present for my mom. They were easily an inch longer than my feet. I have shopped retail for years and never had such an experience.Tried to return four pairs of shoes tonight that were all unworn, in original boxes and with receipts. You can't try shoes on in the store and see how they will feel. Called today to talk about this before sending the shoes back for return. Come to find out. Very frustrating!!!
