He caught 84 passes one year without reaching 1,000 yards because, in lieu of a run game, he was asked to break tackles on short catches. If Friday's scrimmage is any indication, Hill looks set to begin the season as a starter at cornerback with 2020 third-round draft pick Cameron Dantzler working in the nickel defense (on the outside with Hughes moving to slot corner). There will likely be a dropoff in production, but nothing that is out of the ordinary for a secondary in this much flux.With so much young talent at their disposal, the Vikings can try some new things and throw players into different situations throughout camp and the preseason.
